Expected start date: To be confirmed About the function As a Senior contract consultant you will support the with the development and direct contract management of major contracts at the University and be a key contact between the Division/School and the divisional function. You will collaborate with operational leads and other colleagues across the division and the wider University. The University is seeking a passionate individual to support the universities ambitious contract compliance targets the function is to Lead in contract workstream and provide expert advice and insight within significant specialist area to help to address problems, make recommendations and propose improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. About you We are seeking for a person who has a passion to support and develop contract management in higher education, is ambitious courageous and has the drive to move the organisation into the next part of our journey and create a centre of excellence for contract management: Principal Accountabilities » Lead on the provision of objective and expert information, advice and guidance for managers within the organisation on improvements to services and activities related to a specific area of skills. » Assess queries and potential issues, identifying options and recommending solutions, liaising closely with significant operational teams. » Support the implementation of improvement solutions through planning and project management.
