We are seeking for a motivated individual to come and spearhead our software development across multiple projects, such as our work with Health Data Research UK on federated analytics. This is a cornerstone of a new £70M investment in health data science in the UK.
You will participate in the health informatics community and seek to bring together leading software skills, establishing a community of practice and working with other software teams such as the Digital Research Service.
The function will connect significantly to the Biomedical Research Centre and activities across the School and Faculty to build excellence and capabilities that lead to new international research opportunities.
We would expect the function holder to bring significant knowledge of software engineering practices in research.
The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term contract until 31 March 2028. Job share arrangements may be considered.
