Job Offer: Philanthropy Manager:Job description:Job location: Sheffield, Hybrid Working Pattern: Full Time (flexible working opportunities can be explored) Job location: Hybrid - with frequent travel, particularly to London. Overnight stays may be required. Main office: 40 Victoria Street, Sheffield, S3 7QB income: Grade 7,£37,099 - £45,585 per annum with the potential to progress to £49,794 per annum. This fundraising function is in the Campaigns and Alumni Relations department (CAR). We're responsible for raising money and building lifelong relationships with our graduates. Within CAR, our friendly Individual Giving team works to raise gifts of up to £25,000 by mail, phone, community fundraising and by building personal relationships. The Philanthropy Manager will: » Secure gifts at the top end of our Individual Giving programme, asking people to give £5,000-£25,000. » Meet potential donors face-to-face (or by phone/video) and present a compelling case for support. » Demonstrate the impact of each donor's support and ensure they have an exceptional practice. this function would suit someone who is confident building relationships with people from a range of backgrounds, including those in senior positions in their careers. You'll be able to use your communication expertise to persuade, influence and negotiate. And you'll be driven to meet individual targets, whilst taking a methodical approach to your work. The prosperous candidate will be mentored by an practiced face-to-face fundraiser and will be trained on how to present our fundraising projects. Keen to join the team?
