Job Offer: Business Manager - Medical Technology:Job description:Job location: London About the opportunity: We have an opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the Physical Sciences & Engineering team as a Business Manager. The individual We are pursuing will be working on the growing portfolio of medical technologies that are coming out of UCL's broad research base. This is a unique opportunity to take up a Business Manager function within a leading technology transfer company supporting one of the UK's top research-led universities and working collaboratively with academic staff, shareholders and other professionals. If you are seeking an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference by working on world-changing technologies and innovations that have a real and positive impact on people's lives, then this could be the function for you. What you need to have: You will have at minimum a postgraduate degree in a healthcare engineering or life science related discipline and be able to demonstrate practice and success in technology commercialisation. Previous MedTech and university technology transfer practice would be valuable but is not essential. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has the negotiation, communication and organisational expertise necessary to identify and develop early-stage technology commercialisation projects. What we offer A competitive income of £48,000 to £55,000 depending on practice and qualifications. In addition, the company operates PRP, generous holidays and pension schemes and private healthcare.
