About the school:
The School of Education and Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire is a thriving and exciting environment to work in. The post-holder will primarily be located at the Oxstalls campus in the Sports Therapy team.
About the function:
Contributing to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the post-holder will be an engaging and innovative lecturer who shares our student-centred approach, is ready to offer a high standard of support and is interested to make a positive contribution to the student practice, including graduate results.
The focus of this function will be on excellent teaching, with a development strategy for research. candidates should offer a research portfolio commensurate with career stage and a clear personal plan to develop a programme of research.
Candidates will ideally be able to teach across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Education course portfolio, potentially including: BA (Hons) Education; BA (Hons) Education, Inclusion and Special Educational Needs; BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies; Early Years FdA (HTQ); Masters by Research (MRes); Education PhD and Doctorate in Education (EdD).
From September 2025, the School of Education will be relocating from its current premises to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
