We are seeking for a part-time Lecturer - Foundation Learning to on a maternity cover basis.
this function is 18.75 hours per week over 3 days (Monday am, Tuesday and Thursday). The students access 34 weeks' study.
Our Foundation Learning provision is an practiced and dedicated team focused on excellent results for our students.
Your tasks
You will:
   » Lecture and train Foundation Learning Students
   » Develop Learning Support Programmes and materials
   » Supervise a team of Learning Support adjuncts
   » Assess students' initial support needs and monitor progress
   » Arrange appropriate additional support for examinations
Person Specification
The prosperous candidate's expertise, expertise, practice, abilities and qualities will include:
   » A minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
   » Commitment to and evidence of CPD
   » practice of working in a similar function
   » practice of working with post 16 students
   » Evidence of prosperous classroom practice which motivates students
