Contract: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham's Discapability Support team as a Specialist Support Tutor . You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time in UCB's development, which has seen the opening of several first-class teaching/ study environments. As a key part of the Learning Services directorate, you will join our practiced team to provide 1:1 academic support for HE students with SpLDs/disabilities, as well as providing students and staff with advice regarding support, exam arrangements, the DSA process, assistive technologies, SpLDs and disabilities. You will have practice of supporting students who have an SpLD or discapability in an educational setting and will have excellent communication and record-keeping expertise. You will also be expected to be flexible in your approach to work and to act proactively.
