We are seeking for an Enrichment Lead to continue to enhance the student practice within the College.
You will play a pivotal function in enhancing the overall student practice by organising and coordinating a diverse range of extra-curricular activities and events, including organising guest speakers at the College to support students' personal growth.
You will work in the Student practice team to collaborate with students and other key stakeholders to develop and enhance our College Council. This will entail supporting students with developing expertise for the future.
This is a full-time post over 40 weeks per year and is a 27 August, 2024 start.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated and proactive in order to build rapport with students and staff and bring to life the enrichment calendar of events.
The core hours for this function are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Your tasks
You will:
   » Enhance the student practice during recreational non-teaching times through either project-located learning, employcapability workshops or clubs
   » Create and develop an active student union and student voice through student forums, focus groups, department boards
   » Prepare and develop inclusive, fun and inspiring events and extra-curricular enrichment activities
   » Plan Freshers and Refreshers events to welcome students to the College
Person Specification
This is the perfect function for a candidate that has practice of working within youth work or a College or University union setting.
The prosperous candidate's expertise, expertise, practice, abilities and qualities will include:
   » A minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
   » The capability to motivate, inspire and empower students
   » practice of working with young people
   » practice of creating student union/clubs and/or fundraising events
   » Excellent verbal and written communications
