Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering - Practical expertise:Job description:Job location: Uxbridge We are pursuing to appoint an enthusiastic individual with a background in Mechanical Engineering and practical workshop expertise to teach across a range of programmes to our vocational learners, mainly aged between 16 and 19 years old. You would teach across a range ofprogrammes at levels 1, 2 and 3 in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on practical expertise, such as bench work, lathes, milling, CNC, welding, projects and engineering maintenance across different awarding bodies such as Pearson, EAL and City & Guilds. You will need to be qualified to Level 3 in a significant subject area with practical mechanical engineering workshop practice. You will have some teaching/training practice within the subject area and the capability to engage and inspire young vocational learners aged 16-19. Practical practice of lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment is an essential requirement for this post.
