They will undertake administrative tasks related to undergraduate and postgraduate animation programmes and engage in high quality research activities. The postholder will provide teaching and academic support on BA Animation, Year 0 (Foundation in Art and Design) and related programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to an outstanding student practice at Ulster University's Belfast School of Art in preparation for industry significant specialisation and progression into professional life. - ABOUT YOU - - Hold a Masters Qualification (MA/MFA/MDes) in Animation, Visual Communication, Art History or equivalent. OR - A first or upper second-class honours degree in Animation, Visual Communication, or equivalent and significant practice. - Have previous practice of teaching and assessment of Animation History and Theory in higher education. - Have broad training / practice in / expertise of a wide variety of Animation practices and methods, particularly in a creative and commercial context Ulster University holds a Silver Athena SWAN Award in recognition of our commitment to advancing Gender equality.
