Offer: Lecturer (Education) in Physics:Job description:Job location: Belfast The School of Mathematics & Physics at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Lecturer (Education) in Physics. The prosperous candidate will support the delivery of physics and mathematics undergraduate education. This will include lectures, tutorials and laboratory supervision and other tasks assigned by the Director of Education. The postholder will teach, primarily on the BSc and MSci physics programmes as well as our programmes with Northeastern University and Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST). They will also contribute to other significant programmes delivered by the school. The prosperous candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: » Hold a minimum of 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in Physics or closely related discipline » Hold or are about to be awarded a PhD in Physics or closely related discipline. » Demonstrable practice teaching Physics students in lectures, tutorials or laboratories, at UG or PGT levels » practice in marking coursework and/or examinations in Physics at University level.
