This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding academic or practitioner to join a highly professional and motivated team within the Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery. We have a reputation for contemporary and innovative Nursing and Midwifery provision, including apprenticeships. Our NMC approved programmes are nationally recognised for their high quality, student satisfaction, and sustained high employcapability of our graduates.
The primary focus of this function is the delivery of our pre-registration portfolio, spanning across the FdSc Nursing Associate and BSc (Hons) Nursing to include delivery at the University of Worcester and the Dudley satellite campus (subject to approval). As a member of our dedicated academic team, the post holder will be expected to teach a range of core subjects and should have a flexible approach to the subject material they teach. The post holder will, therefore, be committed to promoting academic enquiry, helping develop critical thinking in students by supporting safe, effective and evidence-located practice. By providing expert expertise, you will lead agreed modules, assess students and supervise projects. The post holder should be able to draw upon his or her own subject expertise to design teaching sessions that maximise the integration of theory to practice.
The post holder will possess the capability to inspire students, colleagues, practice partners and employers alike and be committed to compliance with regulatory and quality assurance processes.
