About the function
As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy/Non-Medical Prescribing, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our module in Non-Medical Prescribing and the delivery of other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of skills and practice. We require the post holder to be a pharmacist with independent prescribing status.
You will be joining the Medical School - at an exciting time in its evolution, when We are seeking to grow, enhance, diversify out PG/CPD/KE provision - as part of a collegiate, expanding, diverse, multi-professional team which provides a student focused learning environment.

tasks include:
   » Review, development, and modification of the non-medical prescribing module with a particular emphasis on growing the provision for pharmacists to achieve independent prescribing status.
   » Contribute to clinical teaching in PG Medicine/Medical/Clinical Education as required and commensurate with clinical practice.
   » Excellent leadership abilities, team working, healthcare sector attributes to inform the growth of our PG portfolio.
About You
You will be an practiced pharmacist, with independent prescriber status and a passion for teaching, learning and supporting research. Educational practice is desirable, but we also welcome applications from those in clinical practice who are interested in developing their educational skills in the Higher Education Sector; we provide broad mentorship support for new staff.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of professional pharmacy skills and expertise, possess effective leadership abilities skills alongside transferable skills of adaptcapability and resilience. You will be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to lead on the delivery of multi-professional learning. The prosperous applicant will be flexible and positive, with an excellent capability to collaborate and motivate others.
