Job Opportunity: Data Manager - Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO):Job description:Job location: Oxford We have an excellent opportunity for a Data Manager to join the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO) group located at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Nuffield Department of Medicine. You will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the data which includes managing, transforming and curating clinical, epidemiological, molecular and pharmacology data. You will also ensure the accurate and complete submission of study datasets and connected documentation involving direct communication with data contributors from around the globe. You will manipulate contributed data using Trifacta and provide support in extracting key study information form the study publication, study report and apply standardisation rules to this data. Additionally, you will collaborate with IDDO statisticians and clinicians to certify the data is in the format required for statistical analyses. It is essential that you hold an undergraduate qualification in a scientific or heath related field together with practice of data management and transformation. You will have evidence of high level of attention to detail and good organisational expertise. You will also have a good knowledge of a statistical package and high level of computer literacy. Having practice of data management in a health-related field is highly desirable.
