Job Offer: Lecturer in Finance:Job description:Job location: Belfast listing title: Lecturer in Finance School/Department: Accounting, Finance and Economics - Ulster University Business School income: £38,273 - £56,054 Closing Date: 12 May 2024 Reference Number: 027124 Campus: Belfast Full-time/permanent - ABOUT US - We are a university with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and expertise transfer. - THE function - The postholder will contribute to teaching, research, and business development activity, as required, within the Ulster University Business School. - ABOUT YOU - - A doctorate, (or a doctorate that has been completed and will be conferred within six months), in finance or a closely related area, or the equivalent practice and qualifications at a professional level. - A first or upper second-class degree in finance or a related area; or a higher degree in finance or a related area. - Significant practice of delivering excellent finance related education particularly in the areas of corporate governance, regulation and ethics; sustainable finance; and/or fintech at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and/or substantial practice of delivering financial services training in similar subject areas within the professional financial services sector.
