Job Opportunity: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Resources Management the Hertfordshire Business S:Job description:Job location: Hatfield FTE: 1.0fte, working 37 hours per week (Part time would also be considered) Job location: de Havilland Campus, Hatfield Hertfordshire Business School are pleased to be able to offer various opportunities to join their expanding team in the function of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. There are multiple opportunities across all 6 Departments, more information of each area can be found in the attached Annexes. The Departments are Business Analytics and Systems including operations management and project management, Economics & Finance, Accounting, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing including Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management. The dates available are: » Friday 3rd May 2024 at 10.30am Main tasks and responsibilities You will be expected to contribute to and engage in the teaching and module leadership abilities on the undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes offered by the School. The function will also require you to undertake supervision of student projects, dissertations, and theses as appropriate and be responsible for the pastoral care of students and providing aspects of student support, including personal tutoring. For the function of Senior Lecturer you will also be expected to undertake and develop links with significant professional bodies and academic groupings and participate, where appropriate, in developing research objectives, projects and proposals. In addition to this you may be required to engage with the School's business development activities. Skill and practice required You will have significant expert expertise in the subject area and practice of, or a availability to be involved in module/programme development and administration and other related tasks. You must have the capability to maintain and develop related expertise and expertise as required for the position and an capability to work on own initiative and as a part of a team. For the function of Senior Lecturer, you will also be expected to have substantive links with industry that can be drawn into teaching, consultancy and/or research activities. Qualifications required You must hold a minimum of a Degree, or equivalent level 6 qualification, in a significant subject area OR significant substantial proven practice. For the function of Senior Lecturer, you must hold a minimum of a Masters, or equivalent level 7 qualification, in a significant subject area OR significant substantial proven practice and/or membership of a recognised professional body.
