Offer: Lecturer in Children's Nursing:Job description:Job location: Oxford We are seeking for a motivated individual to join our Children's Nursing programme academic team. The is a part time (0.6 FTE), fixed term function for 9 months to cover maternity leave. Qualifications required for all posts : Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (child). In addition, Teaching practice and a availability to undertake or evidence of Master's level study in a health related subject. practice required for post : A clinical background in nursing and practice in teaching/assessing at pre-registration undergraduate and postgraduate level. Evidence of supervising and teaching students in practice. Evidence of prosperously managing and completing projects in a practice or educational setting. Evidence of research and/or scholarly activity commensurate with the stage of career. Overall purpose of post : To deliver high quality education in children's nursing to pre-qualifying students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations; to participate in student recruitment; to support students in clinical placements and contact with significant stakeholders where appropriate.
