Job Opportunity: Postgraduate Research Coordinator:Job description:Job location: Norwich, Hybrid Starting income from £29,605per annum, dependent on expertise and practice, with an annual increment up to £36,024per annum. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the function of Postgraduate Research Coordinator to work with the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Manager in the service delivery for doctoral students whose research is located at Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI).The main focus of the function is to provide highly efficient, expert co-ordination of postgraduate research administration for candidates, students and managers within the NBI-located Graduate School Office and to supervise the related team.You will act as a point of specialist reference to staff and students. Working in collaboration with external partners will be a key feature of the post, in particular with NBI. You will be responsible forNBI PGR admission procedures and processes, including the coordination of admissions to externally funded Doctoral Training Programmes, liaising across the partner organisations on the Norwich Research Park, and ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of applications. You will have practice of working in a busy office environment with a 'customer' focus and of coordinating office activities and developing and supervising staff and processes.The function offers a varied and interesting workloadworking in a prosperous team within the PGR Service, located at the Earlham Institute,with interaction with a wide variety of staff and students. You will haveexcellent communication and organisational expertise andthe capability toresearch, gather and processinformation, and analyse data. In addition, you will be able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post. This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis from 1 August 2024.
