Offer: Professor/Associate Professor and Director of Pharmacy Education:Job description:Job location: Lincoln Please note, this post is permanent and full time at 1.0 FTE. Associate Professor income from £56,021 per annum. Professor income is competitive. Interview date: Thursday 13th June 2024 The University of Lincoln is seeking a GPhC registered pharmacist who is innovative and dynamic to lead the development of our Pharmacy education programs. As the Director of Pharmacy Education, you will join a strong School leadership abilities Team and collaborate with colleagues from across the health and social care professions as well as external stakeholders. Your function will be to shape and lead the future development of the Pharmacy portfolio within the University and to ensure our Pharmacy programmes deliver an exceptional student practice and develop research-curious, and work-ready graduates. Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with practice partners in the healthcare sector is paramount. The ideal candidate should be an practiced pharmacy educator with demonstrated leadership abilities, facilitation, and motivational expertise. You should possess the capability to implement new ideas and excellent communication expertise to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Your collaborative efforts will shape our pharmacy programs and placement provisions to ensure alignment with the new standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists. We seek a strong educationalist who is a creative thinker, collaborator, and team player. You will facilitate and support our staff in challenging their thinking and fostering innovation. Adaptcapability, excellent organizational expertise, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential. The appointment will be made at either the Associate Professor or Professor level, commensurate with the prosperous candidate's practice and profile within the field of pharmacy education and capability to meet the Professorial criteria.
