We have a great opportunity for a fixed-term, maternity cover as an Education and Student practice Senior Administrator in the Faculty of Arts. The function is part of the existing Education and Student practice team, which works across the Faculty although you will be located primarily in one of our academic Schools. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work alongside staff and students to improve the student practice and contribute to developments in education administration.
You will be the primary contact for academic staff in relation to a range of education and student practice activities, working in close liaison with Registry and Academic Affairs and other Professional Service departments. Your tasks will include, providing administrative support for programme and quality assurance processes, coordinating and maintaining key information for students e.g., Moodle sites and handbooks, administering local ESE work and contributing to projects supporting the education and student practice elements of the Faculty's Strategic Plan. You will work closely with the Faculty Education and Student practice Managers and other members of the team, as well as wider School administrative staff, academic colleagues and students.
You should be educated to A level or equivalent plus have practice of working in a significant function (or considerable significant practice in a significant function). In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication expertise, IT expertise, and the capability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have practice of building strong working relationships with colleagues across an organisation and managing a high workload with competing demands. expertise of University procedures and systems is desirable.?

This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours a week). This post is currently open to hybrid working, with a minimum expectation of two full days on campus. Details regarding working arrangements can be discussed during the interview process. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
