Background The Faculty of Finance, one of the largest finance groups in the UK, is home to world-leading academics with skills in all key areas of finance. Incorporating diverse research communities including accounting; banking; quantitative finance and data science; real estate finance and investment; shipping, international trade, and commodity finance. Bayes offers several finance and accounting focused degrees including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PhD and executive PhD, MBA, and executive education. The Faculty of Finance is proud of its diversity, thought leadership abilities, and collegiality, it seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Banking. Responsibilities The prosperous candidate will conduct research and design and deliver high quality education in banking. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including lectures and online classes. You will play a full and active function as a member of the Faculty of Finance. Person Specification Must have completed or be close to completing a PhD in Finance or a finance related discipline. candidates must demonstrate the potential to design and deliver high quality education in Banking and/or Finance and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including lectures and online classes. Candidates should have earned an HEA fellowship or its equivalent or be willing to gain HEA fellowship soon after their appointment.
