About the function
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to apply high-level social science research expertise, and research project management expertise, for a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded study: ?Development of an Integrated Pathway for Preschool Asthma/wheeze Management (IP2AM): a mixed methods study?.
The study will involve qualitative research in acute hospital and primary care settings, interviews with patient families and healthcare staff, running workshops, data analysis, and co-design of interventions. The function will involve leading on the qualitative research workstreams of the study, working collaboratively and independently as part of a research team to achieve defined milestones and produce high quality research as part of the wider programme.
About you
We are pursuing a highly motivated candidate to join our team. The prosperous candidate will be able to evidence a good working expertise of, and practice with qualitative research methods, excellent communication expertise, and a track record of academic publications and dissemination. They should be able to work independently, and as part of a team to deliver the project aims, and be able to apply principles of best practice for coproduction and PPI (public and patient involvement in research). Previous practice of healthcare related research involving children, young people and their families is desirable.
