Student Hub manager:Job description:Job location: southampton University Job location: Highfield Campus The Student Hub are seeking a passionate and motivated team manager who will work to support the 24/7 service offering. You will be part of a team of staff who support our students across a 24/7timeframewith a shift pattern ona 4 dayson, 4 days off rota, working a12 hourshift from 08.00 - 20.00. This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. There is also a further 10% shift enhancement in addition to this. You willbe responsible forthe provision of advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, careers events and ID cards. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated individual who is interested in enhancing service delivery and line management expertise. The prosperous candidate must be available to work across a variety of Southampton located Student Hub locations. About you: The prosperous candidate will bring a expertise of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide variety of backgrounds is desirable. We are seeking for an individual with exceptional organisational expertise, with an eye for detail, able to prioritise well and manage often multiple tasks and deadlines. A prosperous Student Hub manager will possess excellent customer service and time management expertise, as well as a competency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems. The prosperous candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal communication expertise, and be confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships. The function involves interaction with our students and the prosperous candidates must be a good communicator, both written and verbal and confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships.
