St Georges University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the country's largest NHS Trusts and St Georges Hospital has an established reputation as a leading hospital for specialist care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic practiced physiotherapist to join our well-established Team for 6 months. The Team provides services to patients in the following areas: Covid escalation areas, General ITU, Renal which includes exposure to head and neck surgery, urology, general surgery and major trauma patients. Cardiothoracic ITU including CCU, out of hospital cardiac arrests, cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology. Medical Respiratory including the Acute Medical Unit, A&E and Resus and Respiratory Wards including NIV and tracheostomy management. Post Critical Care rehabilitation (including outreach work and post-discharge follow up). Community respiratory liaison including respiratory outpatients domicillary and pulmonary rehabilitation.

The post holder will be expected to participate in the education and training of other MDT members, rotational staff and non-respiratory staff who cover night on call tasks. We have close links with St Georges University and there are also opportunities to participate in the training of undergraduates as part of the their core respiratory modules.
