The Team provides services to patients in the following areas: Covid escalation areas, General ITU, Renal which includes exposure to head and neck surgery, urology, general surgery and major trauma patients. Cardiothoracic ITU including CCU, out of hospital cardiac arrests, cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology. Medical Respiratory including the Acute Medical Unit, A&E and Resus and Respiratory Wards including NIV and tracheostomy management. Post Critical Care rehabilitation (including outreach work and post-discharge follow up). Community respiratory liaison including respiratory outpatients domicillary and pulmonary rehabilitation.  The post holder will be expected to participate in the education and training of other MDT members, rotational staff and non-respiratory staff who cover night on call tasks.
