Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Adult Nursing:
Job location: Preston
We deliver the Pre-registration Nursing and Trainee Nursing Associate programmes at a number of sites, including Preston, Burnley and Westlakes, both as traditional degree programmes and also as apprenticeships.
The prosperous candidates will be focussed on delivery of the adult field pre-registration nursing programmes. There will be an expectation that the prosperous candidate should be able to teach across a range of courses and be a module leader. The prosperous applicant will be enthusiastic, visionary, and keen to shape nurse education.
candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and be educated to at least degree level. A master's degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification is desirable. Utilising planning and organisational expertise, communication and interpersonal expertise the prosperous candidates will be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Contemporary practice practice is essential, practice supervision and assessment of student nurses in practice is required. You'll be committed to the success of your pre-registration nursing students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and in practice.
