This part time (0.5 FTE) post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Summary of the function/position
The primary function of this function is to provide laboratory support for the Medical Sciences teaching laboratory and Medical Imaging technical rooms on the St. Luke's Campus.
You will supportacademic staff in the delivery of undergraduate teaching in medical science, genetics/genomics, neuroscience, pharmacology and medical imaging between the hours of 08.30am until 18.30 (our new extended teaching day). The working pattern will mainly be a later shift, finishing at 19:00 with flexibility amongst the team to swap to earlier shifts starting at 08:00 if required.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the laboratories and will work in conjunction with the Technical Services Business Partner, full time adjunct Laboratory Manager and two flexi-time Laboratory adjuncts in delivering a safe and efficient working environment for staff and students.
