Job Offer: Languages Course Leader:Job description:Job location: Bath Take a lead function in working with a committed team of linguists, to enhance the University of Bath Institution-Wide Language Programme. You will be working in collaboration with teaching colleagues, other Course Leaders and the Head of Languages, and you will coordinate and manage the effective delivery of our languages programme. About the function: Our institution-wide language provision is open to all students of all disciplines and offered flexibly. You will contribute to knowledge the varied needs of students, in order to ensure that the language provision meets them, hence improving the student learning practice. You will supervise the planning and design of current and engaging language classes, leading on the pedagogical development of the teaching team if necessary. You will ensure that employcapability, digital and intercultural skills are embedded in language teaching and that the language programme is fully accessible and inclusive. About you: You have a degree in a significant subject area and a language teaching qualification. With broad practice in working in a language teaching function, preferably in Higher Education, you have great knowledge of language teaching pedagogy, including e-pedagogy. You also have practice of managing and coordinating teams, and outstanding organisational and time management skills. You are open to growth, to positively engage with further training, happy to share your skills with colleagues, and able to cultivate excellent working relationships.
