The College of Health, Psychology and Social Care are looking to appoint two new Technicians to support teaching activity, focusing on Clinical expertise and Simulation. The functions will provide support for medical practical classes, technical setup, and medical simulation. As well as contributing to the development of new teaching sessions, equipment maintenance/development and E-Learning resources.
prosperous candidates could come from a variety of different backgrounds. Either having practice of working in a technical support environment within an education or medical facility. Alternatively, practical practice of technical support in an area which showcases a high level of IT literacy. Ideally the prosperous candidate would be a graduate, however if you have practice of working in a appropriate technical function and evidence of continuous professional development then you may have the expertise we need.
The function includes working with a wide variety medical equipment so practical expertise of its use and maintenance would be desirable as would any practice of video editing systems. These posts are multi-site to support two Derby University campuses one in Derby the second in Chesterfield usually on a rostered basis.
