Are you a good communicator with the capability to talk to others regarding materials characterisation?

WMG, a world-renowned department within the University of Warwick, are seeking to appoint a Technical agent in Materials Characterisation to manage, develop and support research staff, students and external users with their projects.

The ideal candidate should have practice in characterisation e.g. electron microscopy and/or ion beam techniques, XRD surface analysis. Specialist hands-on-practice of a minimum of two material characterisation techniques is also required. A PhD or Masters degree in Materials Science or a closely related discipline or equivalent practice is essential with additional qualifications in materials and/or characterisation being desirable.
