The Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement (DLTE) is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer for its Academic Practice team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the teaching of the Department's accredited and non-accredited provision,and work across the university on other teaching and learning- focused projects.

The function
The post holder will teach and support learning, focusing on:
   » Contributing to the development of teaching and learning to ensure a quality learning practice for learners across all of DLTE programmes.
   » Contributing to other projects and staff development events run across the University, such as academic induction, CPD, and the Learning & Teaching Network.
Ensuring a quality learning practice for students on our accredited and non-accredited programmes. This will include a range of activities including:
   » Developing and designing face-to-face, online and blended teaching materials.
   » Teaching and supporting learners across a range of accredited and non-accredited programmes.
   » Developing learning and strategic enhancement projects in different contexts.
   » Working closely with School colleagues across a range of disciplines.

   » A doctoral level qualification (or equivalent professional practice)
   » Evidence of leading pedagogical innovation
   » Evidence of academic leadership abilities expertise
   » Sufficient breadth and depth of practice in pedagogy to develop effective teaching/learning
   » practice of engaging learners in diverse contexts.
