Job Opportunity: Teacher of Business and/or Economics:Job description:Job location: Bedford We have a great opportunities located at our Bedford Sixth Form campus for a Teacher of Business and/or Economics to become a key member of our Bedford Sixth Form Teaching department. As a Teacher of Business and/or Economics, you will play a pivotal function in the success of our students through: » Helping students develop their expertise and reach their maximum potentialthrough the delivery of courses and contributing to the development of Sixth Form curriculum and student practice. » Planning, preparing and delivering a range of lessons maintaining a high-quality learning environment. » Undertaking an agreed teaching commitment that develops students' knowledge, expertise and knowledge. Our ideal candidates will have practice of teaching in a Sixth Form or FE College environment with students 16 - 18 year olds and current practice of teaching A Level / GCSE in significant subject, alongside the following qualifications: » Degree in a significant subject » English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Lecturers / Teachers No Teaching Qualification? Contract Type - The Bedford Sixth Form 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year 466.2 hours holiday per annum income and benefits will vary for offers where enrolment on the L5 Teaching Apprenticeship is required. An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
