We are seeking for a highly skilled and practiced academic practitioner to join the Fashion Communication Programme as the Course Leader for MA Fashion Media and Communication.
MA Fashion Media and Communication is a dynamic practice-located course which leads on the diverse interdisciplinary nature of contemporary media and communication design. It fosters a collaborative research-rich, industry-orientated environment to drive emergent creative disciplines through critical engagement with emerging technologies. MA Fashion Media and Communication is a 15-month full-time postgraduate course.
As Course Leader, you will be responsible for the effectiveleadership abilities and management of the course in terms of learning and teaching, curriculum development, research and scholarship, quality assurance and resourcing. You will ensure relevancy of the course by leveraging your excellent professional networks and champion industry links and collaborations. You will also drive continuous innovation by reflecting critically on broader contexts of media and communications and educational provision globally.
The function of Course Leader also includes responsibility for actively contributing to working relationships with colleagues and projects across the Fashion Communication Programme and School of Media and Communication.

Your profile
You will have skills in academic leadership abilities to develop this Fashion Media & Communication Master's into a progressive and highly regarded course with a forward-thinking vision. A significant degree-level qualification is essential and will ideally be supported by an existing teaching qualification.You will understand media and communication in a broad cultural and creative context and possess excellent knowledge of both traditional and emerging practice in fashion, media and communication.
You will have the capability to establish new and leverage existing industry connections and networks to provide significant opportunities for the course, particularly in the context of LCF's move to Stratford and the East Bank in 2023.
