The School of Arts and Humanities has established a School-wide Information Services team to complement local IT services. We are recruiting an additional IT Technician who will be a key part of this team joining other full-time IT staff. The IT Technicians are the first point of contact for IT support and involved in installation and maintenance of IT equipment.
The School of Arts and Humanities consists of eight faculties and three other institutions with 650 staff members. The technicians work across the School particularly in Modern & Medieval Languages and Linguistics, Classics, English, Divinity and Architecture & History of Art. There will also be occasion to work with other faculties and colleges.
We are pursuing someone with strong customer service expertise and practice, and knowledge of Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS clients. The function holder should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent knowledge and expertise.
