NFER is expanding its team and is seeking teachers, graduates, education or assessment professionals with an interest in measurement and assessment. You might be looking to develop your education and assessment skills or are already established and wanting to join a talented team. You will be working in a challenging, friendly and supportive environment.
In this function, you'll be developing digital tests. NFER currently develops a prosperous range of assessment products, which enables primary schools to monitor progress and measure achievement.
Two junior posts (G4/5) are being offered to work with assessment specialists to develop high-quality reading and mathematics e-assessments for primary-aged pupils. You will conduct basic statistical analysis, quantitative/qualitative research as well as contribute to research results and reports.
You'll have some or all of the following qualities/background:
   » Undergrad and/or postgrad degree in a related area, such as in English, a STEM subject, psychology, education or equivalent practice.
   » Knowledge and knowledge of assessment and the curriculum of English/literacy and/or Maths/numeracy for 7-11-year-olds.
   » practice of working in an educational, assessment or EdTech environment.
   » Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
   » Excellent time management skills and the capability to execute under pressure and meet deadlines.
   » Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the capability to understand, lgain and utilise technology easily.
   » A genuine interest in helping to improve results for children and young people.
