Offer: Senior Investment Manager Creative Workforce of the Future:Job description:Job location: Swindon Reporting to the Head of Creative Industries, the prosperous candidates will be key members of the team, supporting the leadership abilities, management, and delivery of key investments and schemes, developing new opportunities, and demonstrating impact across both the Creative Industries team remit and CICP. You will also work in partnership with a team drawn from across UKRI (in particular Innovate UK) and the Digital Catapult, under the leadership abilities of the Challenge Director. A significant focus of these functions is to build strong working relationships with significant individuals and organisations (academic and non-academic) within AHRC, across UKRI, and our external stakeholders. leadership abilities / teamwork / collaboration » develop new initiatives within the team's remit in relation to a portfolio of areas, including commissioning new schemes and scoping out new potential activities » represent the AHRC at external meetings, events and committees, gathering information to inform AHRC horizon-scanning, policy and strategy » contribute to the development of strategy for future investment and identify potential collaborations in relation to a portfolio of areas within the team's remit Delivery / programmes / projects / process » supervise the management of current investments and commissioning activities relating to a portfolio of areas within the team's remit » lead the collection, analysis, and communication of information relating to the team's remit, to provide specialist input, briefings, and make recommendations to senior leaders within AHRC, its governing bodies, and wider stakeholder community as appropriate » develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders as significant to your function, including representing AHRC on significant cross-UKRI groups » lead, manage and/or support strategic and corporate projects and project teams as required across AHRC and UKRI You will need: » an knowledge of the work of UK Research and Innovation, and in particular the Arts & Humanities Research Council » a degree, or demonstrable significant knowledge and practice of an equivalent level » an knowledge of and enthusiasm for the arts and humanities, in particular in relation to the team's remit » an knowledge of and enthusiasm for the creative industries and the wider creative economy excellent interpersonal and relationship-building expertise, with the personal credibility and capability to work effectively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, both internally and externally knowledge of knowledge exchange and impact, including how to articulate these in the context of arts and humanities research Applications are handled by UK Shared Business Services, to see more details and to apply please visit our job board.
