About You
You are a self-motivated, highly organised administrator, able to manage competing deadlines. You have excellent IT expertise, practice of operating a student record or similar system and working with detailed financial information, ideally in a credit control or debt management environment. You have an capability to deliver accurate reports of a high standard, whilst working under pressure. Your excellent communication and interpersonal expertise will enable you to develop effective working relationships both internal and external to the University and you are committed to a high standard of accuracy with first class customer service.
You will be committed to enhancing the student practice by ensuring the most efficient and effective business operations.
About the function
Academic Registry is a central support service that serves to provide high quality administrative systems to facilitate the student journey from enrollment through to award conferral. This post is located in the Fees, Scholarships and Bursaries Team.
Working flexibly within a busy team the post holder will lead on reconciliation of tuition fee payments from and invoices to external funding agencies, mainly the Student Loans Company, to ensure accurate and timely income, reporting regularly on issues and playing a significant function in financial year end.
This is an excellent opportunity for an practiced and highly numerate financial administrator to make a signification contribution to this important area of the University.
