Learning, Teaching and Quality Enhancement Project agent:Job description:Job location: Worcester We are pursuing a proactive, flexible and enthusiastic colleague to manage and support an broad range of activities and tasks, and who will help to drive forward both established and new initiatives connected with educational and professional development. Our new colleague will be an practiced and committed senior administrator who will support the work across the University, relating to: » staff development and recognition schemes » projects to enhance the student educational practice, and » planning, administration and support to the student evaluation process. This post is crucial to theDirectorate of Quality and Educational Development (QED). The postholder will support the Worcester Scheme (an AdvanceHE accredited scheme for continuing professional development), the University Teaching Awards Scheme, Students as Academic Partners (SAP) and the management of Learning & Teaching Enhancement projects. The postholder will also provide administrative support for cross-University events such as the annual Learning & Teaching conference and to formal committees such as the Learning, Teaching and Student practice Committee (LTSEC). The postholder will also support the student evaluation process, working with senior colleagues to promote key activities such as the Course practice and National Student Surveys, and to support the wider evaluation of the student practice through a range of projects. We wish to appoint an administrator with significant expertise and self-motivation to develop or progress a career in HE administration. This is a busy and varied function, with much scope for individual initiative. The prosperous candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal expertise, working effectively as part of a team.
