Offer: Departmental Administrator (QED):Job description:Job location: Worcester Are you an adaptable individual, who will be committed to delivering excellent support as part of our Quality and Educational Development team? We are pursuing an practiced, professional and confident member to join our team who has proven administrative, interpersonal and organisational expertise. Quality and Educational Development (QED) is responsible for a wide variety of service oriented activities related to the quality assurance and enhancement of courses and the student learning practice. Providing support for colleagues in the QED Team and liaising with staff across the University and our partners is a key responsibility of the postholder. Alongside normal office functions, you will also be responsible for organising and taking notes and minutes of meetings, maintaining records and databases, researching and presenting information, maintaining aspects of our webpages, blogs and internal policy documents, as well as contributing to the development of processes and procedures; training will be provided for systems in place at the University, such as finance. With previous practice in administration, ideally within higher education, you will be flexible, adaptable and proactive in your approach with good communication expertise and attention to detail. practice of working with a variety of Microsoft software packages to produce high quality documentation is also required. We are located in a busy friendly office in Worcester city centre, close to the train and bus stations.
