The University of Chester is seeking to appoint a Discapability Support agent to join our multi award-winning Student Services department under the Discapability and Inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-quality and enthusiastic Discapability Service.
You will work directly with disabled students and candidates to ensure they are able to access reasonable adjustments to live and study independently.
An undergraduate degree, practice of working with disabled people and excellent communication and problem-solving expertise are essential, along with an capability to work in a pressured environment to meet tight deadlines. A good working expertise of support for disabled students in Higher Education is essential.
The post will be located at our Chester campus but you will be expected to work flexibly across the University sites, which may include travelling to Warrington and Shrewsbury on occasion. There is currently an element of home-working which is likely to continue post pandemic.
