Job Opportunity: Principal Lecturer in Paramedic Science (Permanent) and Head of Department (Fixed t:Job description:Job location: Worcester The School of Allied Health and Community is seeking an outstanding colleague to join the Department of Paramedic Science. The prosperous candidate will be appointed as a Principal Lecturer on a permanent basis. The function will support priorities across the School including strategies in relation to recruitment and retention, learning and teaching, student practice and the thematic alignment of the School. The function holder will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Department and will act as the line manager for staff within their Department. The Head of Department will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and contribute to the strategic development of the School. The prosperous candidate will demonstrate an excellent consciousness of the Higher Education environment. The post holder will have an established record of excellence in learning and teaching, and research with demonstrable practice of innovation in curriculum design and development. TheSchool of Allied Health and Communitytake pride in delivering excellence in teaching, applied research and practice development. The School works closely with the local community and with partners across a wide variety of sectors to enhance the student practice and to provide students with an invaluable insight into professional practice.
