Job Offer: Psychology Laboratory Technician:Job description:Job location: Chichester We are currently recruiting for a Psychology Laboratory Technician to support the Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health and the Institute of Education, Social and Life Sciences. You will contribute to the overall functioning of the Psychology Lab, to support teaching and learning activities. The post holder will provide specialist technical support to staff and students undertaking detailed scientific testing in the Psychology lab, contribute to demonstrating support and delivery, and actively participate in the implementation of our recruitment strategy. You will hold a good first degree in Psychology or Sport and Exercise Psychology (or allied subject) with professional or academic qualifications at Master's level at least, and demonstrate basic knowledge of the types of psychology and neuroscientific instruments typically adopted in empirical research. In addition, you will have a practical working knowledge and knowledge of software programs as used in Psychology and connected investigative work and a range of significant quantitative and qualitative research methods.
