This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is one of the UK's leading centres of applied research in primary care and is a national centre for studying musculoskeletal disorders.
The post will support the delivery ofa qualitative study as part of a largerprogramme of work:SPLaT-19 (SymptomPatterns and Lived practice of Long-COVID in children andadolescenTs).The researcher will deliver primary qualitative research (semi-structured interviews withchildren, adolescents and their parents and carers); conduct qualitativethematic analysis, co-ordinate and run focus groups with professionals involved in the wider care and education of children and adolescentsand work closely with the study patient and public involvement and engagement group.
Along with practice of delivering qualitative research studies and working with service users groups and carers, the prosperous candidate will hold a PhD level qualification (or be within 3 months of submission) or have equivalent practice in the design, analysis, writing up and dissemination of research studies.
