Joining our Planning, Risk, Intelligence, Management information and Enhancement (PRIME) team, you will work within a team of friendly Analysts, supporting both corporate and academic activities. You will provide professional advice and a responsive, high quality, information, analysis and planning service to enable effective, evidence located decision making by Senior Management, Faculties, and key Professional Services all over BU. This is a highly varied function at the heart of which lies the need to be able to handle large volumes of data, and translate analyses into valuable insight and advice which will enhance your colleagues' knowledge of complex areas. Presenting your findings in written reports, tables, and visual reporting formats, you will ensure each analysis is uniquely tailored for the significant audience and will be confident in effectively communicating results and recommendations. You will also play a key function in an exciting new Information Management project, contributing to the development of a new SQL Server Data Warehouse and connected reporting, as well as maintenance of existing reporting solutions in SQL Server and QlikView. You will have a background in a similar Analyst function; as such you will be comfortable working with large volumes of data from a variety of sources and have practice of shaping complex information into understandable formats. With the capacity to work flexibly and prioritise a varied workload, you will be highly numerate, with good attention to detail and excellent communication and problem-solving expertise.
