Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager:Job description:Job location: Northampton About the job This new post is created to enhance the University's relationship with employers and increase earnings generation from business to business contracts providing expertise exchange. Working as part of a small team responsible to the head of commercial services (enterprise), the post holder will create a a pipeline and manage a portfolio of clients for a range of service including contract research, CPD, consultancy on a paid basis. The post holder will achieve stretching earnings targets, working with clients identifying opportunities to increase the product portfolio, drive earnings generation, and enhance the university's reputation. We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UNEL, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of UNEL as well as from one person to another. The department has far reaching responsibilities for improving student results, expertise exchange, external stakeholder engagement, and earnings generation. The unit is an integral part of the departmental plan and strategically supported as part of the university's earnings diversification plans.
