A great opportunity has arisen for an Assessment agent to join our School of Health and Social Care andprovide high quality administrative support to the School.
tasks of the function
Working closely with the University Academic Services Assessment and Progress teams, providing advice to students and staff on the rules of assessment and assessment policies,contributing to improvement projects, reviews of procedures and supporting the maintenance, updating and publication of the rules of assessment. You will also:
   » Support the planning, organisation and delivery of exam boards.
   » Act as lead administrator for the school external examiner quality assurance processes.
   » Service Boards of Examiners meetings; processing extenuating circumstances claims and student results, publishing results.
   » Provide advice to students and staff on the rules of assessment and assessment policies.
   » Process Exam Board casework.

Skills and qualifications required
To be prosperous, you will need to have:
   » Significant administrative practice of working in higher education student administration or an equivalent context.
   » Familiarity with student records databases.
   » practice of complex work and the effective application and interpretation of regulatory frameworks.
   » capability to acquire knowledge and knowledge ofdetailed policies and procedure, and to apply themaccurately.
   » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   » capability to analyse problems and proposesolutions.
