Our Design Archives is an internationally significant research base with a curatorial team that initiates and promotes collaborative activity through a programme of projects. Founded on a scholarly resource focusing on British design and global design organisations in the twentieth century, we have been contributing substantially to the research profile of the University for over 20 years.
This post has a key responsibility for the Design Archives' digital collections content, data and systems, maintaining and delivering catalogue records and digital assets for staff and public audiences. The function works closely with all members of the Design Archives team and with colleagues within and outside the University.
To be prosperous in this post you will:
   » Be practiced in archive settings, working with collections, data and systems.
   » Have a first degree in a significant subject
   » Have good technical expertise and expertise of archive standards and practices.
   » Have excellent communication and organisational expertise.
The post is part-time and is fixed-term for 12 months. Job sharers are welcome to apply.
