We are seeking to for a Software Licensing Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis!
This is a unique opportunity to join a small Software Licensing Team within the Digital, Data & Technology Group (DD&T) at the University of Bath. The team manages a large portfolio of software titles which are a key resource, helping the University to deliver world-leading research & teaching across the organisation. The dynamic portfolio provides the opportunity for our students to practice & gain skills in some of the leading software applications being used in industry across the world today.
Key Accountabilities
Main responsibility is to review agreements/terms and conditions and providing advice to customers across the University, you will review the licensing aspect of all software requests, ensuring that the University uses software in conformity with licence terms & optimises its software assets.
Maintain relations with existing partners, resellers, and licensors with the aim of securing the best possible contract terms & costs for the University.
Focus on further developing and improving the team's services and business processes to ensure licensing requirements are met and a quality service is provided to internal customers.
Contribute software licensing skills and undertake activities on departmental and university projects that require licensing input.
Create and maintain appropriate internal documentation for the software titles licensed to the university and maintain the licensing information for the Software Catalogue held by DDaT.
