Job Opportunity: Coach and Mentor:Job description:Job location: Bedford, Corby We have a great opportunity located at our Bedford and Corby campuses for a Coach and Mentor to become a key member of our Apprenticeships department. As a Coach and Mentor, you will play a pivotal function in the success of our students through: » Owning and managing a case load of apprentices across the construction and trades area » Completing in depth, effective & accurate reviews of all learners on caseload and ensure these are kept up to date all over the programme. » Coordinating the progress of apprentices from start to end of their journey, ensuring high quality results and timely achievement Our ideal candidates will have knowledge of recent developments in training, assessing and verifying and knowledge & knowledge of standards connected to the function, alongside the following qualifications: » Good all round level of education to include Maths and English to » GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2) Further details of the essential criteria for the post can be located within the Job Description. Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services Ltd (BCPS Ltd) 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year Part-time hours will also be considered 27 days holiday per annum, plus public holidays An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
