About the function:
The School of Allied Health is building on the prosperous delivery of several courses across the allied health professions, science and leadership abilities. In collaboration with local trusts, the school now wishes to establish a 2-year MSc in Occupational Therapy (pre-reg). We are pursuing a lecturer practitioner to join our School of Allied Health to support this new programme delivery.
With a degree related to Occupational Therapy or significant professional qualification and broad post qualification CPD, you'll have significant clinical practice, you'll be registered with HCPC and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. practice of Occupational Therapy curriculum design and of teaching at Higher Education level would be preferable. With an enthusiastic and flexible approach and good interpersonal and negotiating expertise, you'll have the capability to meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure and to contribute ideas to curriculum improvement.
