The function
this function provides the opportunity to contribute to the success of our research and enterprise activities in a wide variety of fields, reflecting the large and diverse portfolio of the Faculty. You will be located within the team that provides support to academic staff in the preparation of bids for external research and enterprise funding, coordinates internal approval processes, and supports the financial management of funded projects.
We form virtual teams with colleagues to support complex and large bids - often to tight deadlines - so you will need to be able to prioritize effectively and to work well under pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy are important expertise along with clear and concise writing, and availability to check and clarify ambiguities
We are seeking for someone with significant management practice, including the capability to create, develop, analyse and monitor complex budgets. You will be able to lgain quickly, be receptive to feedback, and adapt to new working processes and priorities.
You will also have the attributes to develop and manage stakeholder relationships across the University and externally, including with collaborating organisations and funding bodies.
